Eric Gurr
Eric is a SQL DBA/Developer and data analyst. He has studied history for over 35 years. In 2012 he ran unsuccessfully in a primary election against Speaker of the House John Boehner. Gurr predicted at that time that weakening Bashir Al Assad in Syria would lead to wide spread violence in the Middle East. Within two years the rise of ISIS and other radical elements proved that history does indeed repeat.

The algorithm Gurr developed is based on years of the study of history and in particular war and civil war. What causes a nation to descend into violence? What can be done to stop it?
